Shrove Tuesday marks the celebration before we start the observation of Lent.
Why pancakes? The tradition goes back to when Pope St. Gregory prohibited Christians from eating all meat and animal products during the time of Lent around AD 600. So Christians made pancakes to use up their eggs, milk, and butter.
So help us use up those eggs, milk, and butter by joining us to celebrate with pancakes and a raffle.
