Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week at St. Timothy’s. The service commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The service starts with the congregation processing behind the choir, carrying palms into the sanctuary.
The gospel is read in a narrative fashion with members of the congregation taking the various roles. The cry goes up. “Crucify Him!”
For those who wish to take a fuller journey, St. Timothy’s offers services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Great Vigil on Holy Saturday prior to Easter Day. Please join us.
